Overview
You can manage your billing information directly in your MNTN account, including viewing invoices, updating your credit card, and checking payment status. MNTN bills accounts monthly, with credit card charges typically processed by the 10th of the following month. Invoices follow Net 30 terms and are sent to designated contacts around the same time. This article covers how to access your billing settings and what to expect from your billing cycle.
View Billing Information
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.
Click Billing Info from the left navigation pane and stay on the Billing Info tab.
π Note: Every month, we will send you a receipt referencing this information to the email address you provided at sign-up. Please note you can always change that email address.
View & Download Billing History
The Billing History tab aggregates the credit card receipts or invoices from prior billing periods. Billing History details your invoices and allows you to download, print, or share your invoices.
View your billing history:
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select Billing from the menu.
From the Billing History tab, review your billing history.
Download an invoice:
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select Billing from the menu.
From the Billing History tab, click the ellipses next to the invoice you'd like to download and select Download from the menu.
Edit Billing & Payment Details
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select Billing from the menu.
From the Billing Info tab, update your payment information as needed.
Click Save Changes.
Assign Billing Contacts
To assign users who should receive monthly invoices or credit card receipts:
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.
Click General from the left navigation pane.
Scroll down to the Invoice Contacts section.
Click + New.
Enter the contact's information.
Click Save.
π Note: Invoice contacts may include users who do not have access to the MNTN platform.
To remove a contact, click the trash icon to the right of their name.
Switch Billing Method
You can request to switch between credit card and invoice billing by following the below steps. Note that once you switch from invoice to credit card, switching back to invoice will require re-approval.
From Invoice to Credit Card:
This feature is available to all customers currently on invoice billing. Follow these steps:
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.

Click Billing Details in the left navigation pane.
On the Billing Info tab, click Switch to Credit Card.
β οΈ Warning: This change is automatic, but it won't be completed unless a valid credit card is added.
From Credit Card to Invoice:
This feature is available to select customers. Follow these steps to request approval:
Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.
π‘ Pro Tip: You can also select Billing Details and skip step 2.
Click Billing Details in the left navigation pane.
On the Billing Info tab, click Request switch to invoice in the bottom left corner.
A confirmation modal will appear.
β οΈ Warning: If this feature isn't available to you, the Request switch to invoice button won't appear.
Click Yes, Submit Request.
MNTN will review your request, typically within 3-5 business days.
If your request is:
Approved | You'll receive confirmation through email and the MNTN platform that your payment method has been updated. |
Rejected | You'll receive confirmation through email and the MNTN platform that your request has been rejected and your billing method will remain unchanged.
You can request a payment change again in 14 days. |
Understand Credit Card Information
When providing your credit card information, ensure the card has suitable credit limits for your campaign budgets.
MNTN accepts all major credit cards and does not store any of your credit card information.
Credit cards are typically billed by the 10th of the following month. The main email contact on your account will receive a credit card receipt.
If there is an issue with the credit card on file and payment cannot be processed, an automated email will be sent from [email protected] with the subject line "Advertiser Payment Unsuccessful." This will go to the main email contact on your account. This email will prompt you to update your credit card information in the MNTN platform.
Retry a Failed Credit Card Payment
If your credit card payment fails, you can retry it directly in the MNTN platform. If an updated payment is not received within 3 business days of the initial decline, campaigns will be automatically paused. Note, this feature doesn't support ACH or non-credit card payments.
Upon sign in, click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.

Click Billing Details in the left navigation pane.
Click on the Billing History tab.
Click the blue Retry button next to eligible failed payments:
Once clicked, the button will show that it's Retrying...
If another account administrator at the same time, the button will show that there's already a Retry in Progress
If your retry attempt is:
Successful β the invoice status will change to Approved and you'll receive email and in-platform notifications.
Rejected β a countdown will appear letting you know when the next attempt is available and you'll receive email and in-platform notifications.
π‘ Pro Tip: Hover over the info icon to view the failure reason for your latest attempt and make sure your credit card details are current before retrying.
Change Your Invoice Layout
Upon sign in, click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account from the menu.

Click Billing Details in the left navigation pane.
Click on the Invoice Settings tab.
Scroll down to the Invoice Layout section.
Select your preferred layout:
Standard β A high-level summary of the total monthly advertising spend, including billing information, payment instructions, and invoice dates without a breakdown of individual campaigns. This is the default layout.
Campaign Detail β An expanded version of the standard invoice that includes a line-by-line breakdown of spend by campaign, providing added visibility for advertisers running multiple initiatives.

Click Save.
π Note: Layout changes will take effect on your next billing cycle.
