Connect Campaign Manager 360

Learn how to log MNTN impressions in Campaign Manager 360 formerly known as DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM).

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), formerly DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), is Google’s enterprise-level, web-based ad management platform. If you use CM360 for ad verification or attribution, below is a guide on how to set up CM360 alongside your MNTN campaigns.

Who it's for

This integration is for advertisers who use CM360 to:

  • Confirm impression delivery and support brand safety checks

  • Collect impression data for cross-channel reporting

  • Track clicks from Multi-Touch display ads

💡 Pro Tip: For accurate attribution, we recommend using one of our integrated measurement partners instead of CM360.

Why it matters

Placing CM360 impression tags on your MNTN creatives lets you validate impression counts in your CM360 dashboard and support brand safety checks. If you're running Multi-Touch alongside your TV campaign, you can also use CM360 redirect URLs to track click activity.

How it works

MNTN and CM360 are not directly integrated. However, impression tags and redirect URLs can send campaign data into CM360. After setup, CM360 will show your MNTN impression counts. You can use this data to validate delivery and support brand safety checks.

If you added redirect URLs to Multi-Touch ads, you'll also see some click data. Keep in mind that only occasional direct clicks will appear. Since CTV ads aren't clickable, CM360 can't capture the full scope of your MNTN performance.

Impression tags: You place CM360 impression tags (1x1 tags) on your MNTN creatives. When your ad serves, MNTN fires the tag and CM360 logs the impression.

Redirect URLs (Multi-Touch only): If you're running Multi-Touch ads, you can use CM360's Click Tag as a redirect URL to track clicks. This only applies to Multi-Touch, standard CTV ads are not clickable.

Refer to the table below to learn what CM360 tracks.

Tracks

Doesn't Track

Impressions

(through impression tags)

Verified Visits

CM360 relies only on clicks and views and cannot process Verified Visits via Macro-Enabled Visit Tracking (MEVT)

Clicks

(through redirect URLs for Multi-Touch only)

Cross-device conversions

Only occasional direct clicks from Multi-Touch ads appear in CM360, if a redirect URL is present.

Set It Up

  1. Download impression tags.
Download a tagging document from CM360 containing all required impression tags.

  2. Prepare your impression tags.

    1. Use the Impression Tag (image) from the tag sheet.

    2. Edit the timestamp macro from [timestamp] to ${timestamp}.

    3. Copy only the URL portion (everything inside <IMG SRC="TAG">).

  3. Add the impression tag in MNTN.

In your MNTN creative setup or at the account level, paste the URL into the Impression Tracking field.

📝 Note: You may see GDPR/consent macro warnings in the impression tag. Since MNTN operates in the U.S., these macros won’t return values, you can leave them as-is.

  4. Set up CM360 Redirect URLs (optional)
This step is optional and it's only applicable if you're running Multi-Touch alongside your TV campaign.

    1. In your tag sheet, locate the Click Tag (redirect URL).

    2. Paste the redirect URL in the Redirect URL field in the MNTN creative setup.

Quick Answers

Does MNTN bill against CM360 impression counts?

We do not bill against CM360 impression counts. MNTN invoices are based only on impressions recorded in the MNTN platform. You can reference CM360 for verification, but it does not affect billing.

What is CM360 Floodlight and what is it used for?

Floodlight is an optional CM360 feature that tracks conversion events — actions users take on a website after viewing or clicking an ad. MNTN does not support Floodlight. For accurate performance tracking, you should place the MNTN pixel directly on your website, outside of a Floodlight.
