Overview
MNTN’s HubSpot integration lets you sync HubSpot contact lists into MNTN automatically. Once synced, these lists populate as CRM audiences in MNTN, where you can use them for targeting or exclusions in your audience strategy.
Syncing HubSpot lists is also the first step required for HubSpot attribution. After a list is synced, you can enable HubSpot attribution to send MNTN ad exposure data back to HubSpot for matched contacts.

How data moves
MNTN syncs your HubSpot contact lists into MNTN by direct integration. Once synced, these lists populate as CRM audiences that can be used for campaign targeting or exclusion.

Before You Begin
To sync HubSpot lists to MNTN, you need:
An active HubSpot account
At least one HubSpot contact list to sync
Note, only HubSpot lists with OBJECT = Contact are available for syncing

Connect HubSpot
Sign in to your MNTN account.
From the account dropdown in the top right, select My Account.
In the left navigation pane under MY ACCOUNT, click Integrations.
Find HubSpot, then click Connect.
The Connect to HubSpot modal opens.
Choose whether to keep Allow HubSpot Attribution enabled.
Allow HubSpot Attribution is selected by default. Keep it selected if you’d like to give MNTN permission to send data back to HubSpot.
Uncheck Allow HubSpot Attribution if you only want to sync HubSpot lists into MNTN for targeting or exclusions.
⚠️ Warning: This permission doesn't enable attribution for a specific list. After your HubSpot lists sync to MNTN, you still need to enable HubSpot attribution for each list you want to measure.
Click Connect.
You’re temporarily redirected to HubSpot to authorize the connection.
In HubSpot, follow the onscreen prompts to connect the app.
You’re redirected back to the HubSpot list picker in MNTN.
In MNTN, select the HubSpot lists you want to sync.
From the HubSpot list picker, you can:
Search across all your HubSpot contact lists
View list size and last updated date
Select one, multiple, or all lists
Use pagination or search to find specific lists
Click Save.
You’ll receive a notification that your HubSpot data is syncing.
📝 Note: Your HubSpot lists may take up to 24 hours to finish syncing to MNTN. After the initial sync, lists update automatically once per day. No manual refresh or re-upload is required.
Use Synced HubSpot Lists in MNTN
After your HubSpot lists sync to MNTN, they populate as CRM audiences.
You can use synced HubSpot lists for targeting or exclusions, depending on your campaign strategy.
In Retargeting campaigns, CRM audiences can only be used for exclusion, not targeting. For full details on how CRM audiences behave across campaign strategies, see Source Audiences with CRM.
Manage Synced HubSpot Lists
You can edit, add, or remove synced HubSpot lists at any time.
To manage your synced lists:
In MNTN, from the account dropdown in the top right, select My Account.
In the left navigation pane under MY ACCOUNT, click Integrations.
Find HubSpot, then click Manage.
Update your selected lists.
Click Save.
Disconnect HubSpot
Disconnecting the integration stops future syncing.
To disconnect HubSpot:
In MNTN, from the account dropdown in the top right, select My Account.
In the left navigation pane under MY ACCOUNT, click Integrations.
Find HubSpot, then click Manage.
In the bottom left, click Disconnect HubSpot.
Click Disconnect.

Yes. HubSpot lists sync with MNTN automatically, so if a contact is removed from a synced HubSpot list, they’re also removed from the corresponding MNTN CRM audience during the next sync. Once removed, that contact is no longer eligible for any targeting or exclusions using that synced list.
