đ§Ș Beta: The MNTN MCP is available before its general public release so you can try it and provide feedback. During the read-write beta, the MCP can retrieve MNTN data and make supported changes to campaigns, budgets, audiences, and targeting. Every supported change requires your explicit confirmation before it is applied. Delete operations are not supported.
Active campaign budgets are limited to one change per campaign per day. Future scheduled budget windows can be configured independently.
Overview
Use these steps to resolve common connection, authorization, and data access issues with the MNTN MCP.
Fix Common Issues
The connection fails or times out
Confirm that the server URL is entered exactly as follows:
https://mcp.ex.mountain.com/mcp
Also confirm that your network allows outbound HTTPS connections.
Remove any spaces, trailing characters, or other changes to the URL, then try connecting again.
The authorization page does not open or login repeats
Clear the cookies for:
mcp.ex.mountain.com
Confirm that API access is enabled for your MNTN account. Then remove the MNTN connector or app, add it again, and repeat the authorization process.
Use your standard MNTN credentials when prompted. Do not paste your MNTN password or an access token into the AI assistant.
The MCP is connected, but no data appears
Confirm that your MNTN user has permission to access the requested advertiser or account.
Ask your AI assistant to:
âList the advertisers I can access.â
âList the active campaigns for [advertiser name].â
Then use a returned advertiser, campaign, or ID in your next question.
