Overview
MNTN's WorkMagic integration lets you bring your MNTN campaign data into WorkMagic through the MNTN Reporting API. In WorkMagic, you can use this data to run geo-based lift tests and measure the incremental impact of your connected TV (CTV) campaigns across direct-to-consumer (DTC), Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail channels.
Use this integration to:
Measure the incremental outcomes your MNTN campaigns drive beyond your baseline.
Compare MNTN performance against your social, search, and display investments.
Calibrate WorkMagic's MMM and attribution models with real lift data from MNTN.
Decide whether to scale, hold steady, or shift investment in MNTN based on test results.
Shared data
MNTN sends spend and Media Market geo data to WorkMagic through the Reporting API. This is a one-way integration; WorkMagic lift test results are not reported back into the MNTN Reporting Dashboard.

Connecting your MNTN account authorizes WorkMagic to access your MNTN reporting data.
Before You Begin
To use this integration, you need:
An active MNTN account with reporting access
An active WorkMagic account
Before connecting MNTN to WorkMagic, prepare your campaigns for measurement and gather your MNTN connection details.
Structure your campaigns measurement
To ensure WorkMagic can reliably measure your MNTN campaigns, structure them with measurement in mind. Follow our MMM and Incrementality guide to prepare your campaigns.
Gather your MNTN connection details
You’ll need your MNTN Advertiser ID and Reporting API Key to connect MNTN in WorkMagic.
Set It Up
Sign in to WorkMagic.
💡 Pro Tip: You can also access WorkMagic in MNTN. From the left navigation pane in your account, click Integrations and find WorkMagic. Then click Visit and finally, Add integration.
From the bottom left, click the ⚙️ Gear icon.
Click the Marketing tab.
Find the MNTN tile and click Connect.
The Connect MNTN modal appears.
Click Next.
The MNTN API Configuration modal appears.
Complete the required fields using the Advertiser ID and Reporting API Key credentials you collected before you began.
Click Confirm.
Allow a few days for your MNTN data to begin appearing in WorkMagic while they validate the connection.
Run a Lift Test
After your MNTN data appears in WorkMagic, you can use it to design and launch geo-based lift tests. WorkMagic does not configure the MNTN geo holdout automatically. You must manually exclude the control Media Markets from your MNTN campaign.
In WorkMagic:
Sign in to WorkMagic.
From the left navigation pane, under Experiments, click Lift tests.
In the upper right, click the purple + Create lift test button.
Follow How to setup lift test on MNTN (Manual Holdout only) to create and schedule your test.
In Step 2, copy the Control Geos. You'll use these later in MNTN.
📝 Note: MNTN geo targeting uses Media Markets. WorkMagic's recommended geo lists correspond to Media Markets in your MNTN campaign settings.
In MNTN:
Exclude the WorkMagic Control Geos, known in MNTN as Media Markets, from your campaign’s geo targeting.
💡Pro Tip: Keep the control Media Markets excluded for the full testing and cooling periods recommended by WorkMagic. Changing your campaign's geo targeting during the test can invalidate the results.
Review Lift Test Results
When your test concludes, review the results in WorkMagic to confirm the incremental impact of your MNTN campaigns. You can also use the results to calibrate your marketing mix model with MNTN lift data.
Review the results with your MNTN team to:
Validate incremental performance.
Review your campaign targets for accuracy.
Identify optimization opportunities.
Plan future testing cycles.
Use incrementality testing as an ongoing process: test, learn, and refine your approach to campaign budgeting.
Disconnect It
Disconnecting stops MNTN data from syncing to WorkMagic.
