Connect Funnel

Add MNTN reporting to Funnel for centralized marketing data.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

Funnel is a marketing data platform that helps you collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from your marketing tools in one place.

Funnel is a hub between your advertising platforms and your reporting systems. It pulls data from sources like ad networks, analytics tools, and CRMs, then sends it to your data warehouse or reporting tools. This means you can analyze performance across all your channels without jumping between platforms.

If you use Funnel, you can add MNTN as a data source to include your reporting alongside your other marketing data.

Why it matters

Adding MNTN to Funnel means your reporting lives alongside your other marketing data. Funnel pulls your MNTN data automatically, so you don't need to export reports manually or copy data between systems.

How it works

Funnel has a built-in MNTN connector. You link your MNTN account using your API key, and Funnel handles the rest.

  • After you connect, Funnel pulls data directly from your MNTN reporting dashboard on an ongoing basis. Your reports show up in Funnel automatically without manual exports.

  • Funnel doesn't change your MNTN data. It doesn't apply its own attribution models or adjust your metrics. Your data passes through exactly as it appears in MNTN. Funnel simply moves the data from one place to another.

Before You Begin

You’ll need:

  • An active Funnel account

  • Your MNTN API key

To find your API key in MNTN, see Use Your API Key.

Set It Up

Go to Funnel's MNTN setup guide and follow their instructions.

When prompted, enter your MNTN API key into Funnel.

Quick Answers

What data can I pull into Funnel?

Funnel documents the available MNTN data in their help center.
See What data can I get from MNTN? for the full list.

Why do I see overlapping conversions between channels when I pull in my MNTN data into Funnel?

MNTN attribution does not dedupe visits, conversions or revenue across other marketing channels. Funnel pulls in MNTN data as-is, and does not apply any multi-touch attribution rules to solve for overlapping attribution.
