Automatically sync HubSpot customer lists to MNTN for targeting and exclusion.

Overview

MNTN’s HubSpot integration lets you automatically sync customer lists from HubSpot into MNTN—no manual uploads required. Once connected, you can use your HubSpot lists to target or exclude audiences in campaigns.

Lists update daily, so your audiences stay fresh without additional setup.

Why it matters

Use this integration to:

  • Target recent demo signups with Performance TV campaigns

  • Exclude existing customers from prospecting campaigns

  • Replace manual CSV uploads for compliance or operational efficiency

How it works

After connecting HubSpot, each imported list can be used to use lists for audience targeting. Use any synced HubSpot list as a CRM audience in MNTN. You can:

  • Target a list in a campaign

  • Exclude a list from a campaign

  • Combine HubSpot lists with other audience types

This works the same way as other CRM audiences in MNTN.

Before You Begin

To use this integration, you need:

  • An active HubSpot account

  • Admin access in HubSpot

Set It Up

  1. Sign in to your MNTN account.

  2. From the account dropdown in the top right, select My Account.

  3. Under MY ACCOUNT in the left navigation pane, click Integrations.

  4. Find Hubspot and click Connect.

    The Connect to Hubspot modal opens.

  5. Click Connect.

    You're temporarily redirected to HubSpot to authorize the connection.


    💡 Pro Tip: You must login to HubSpot as an Admin to authorize the integration.


  6. After authorization, you'll return to MNTN to select lists to sync.

    From the HubSpot list picker, you can:

    • Search across all your HubSpot lists

    • View list size and last updated date

    • Select one, multiple, or all lists

    • Use pagination or search to find specific lists

  7. Click Save.

    You'll receive notification your data from HubSpot is syncing.


    📝 Note: Lists sync automatically once per day. No manual refresh or re-upload is required.


You can edit your lists at any time by coming back to Integrations > HubSpot and clicking Manage.

Disconnect HubSpot

Disconnecting stops future syncing.

To disconnect:

  1. Go to Integrations > HubSpot.

  2. Click Manage.

  3. In the bottom left, click Disconnect HubSpot....

Manage your lists

After syncing:

  1. Click the Audience tab.

  2. Click the Segments > CRM.


    💡Pro Tip: To filter results, click Source in the top left and check the HubSpot box.


    Each list shows:

    • List name

    • Source: HubSpot

    • Audience type

    • Creation date

  3. The Type column dictates how the list is used:

    • Audience: Use this list for targeting and exclusion in campaigns.

  4. You can manage, edit, or remove lists from this view.
