Overview
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is available to you in our MNTN platform as an additional security measure upon login through two methods:
SMS Text
Authenticator Applications (like Google authenticator, Microsoft authenticator, LastPass authenticator, etc).
Once an authentication method has been set-up, you will be prompted to enter an additional authentication code when logging into the MNTN platform.
Enable 2FA
Sign in to MNTN with your credentials.
When prompted, select your authentication method:
Set up SMS Text
Set up Authenticator
βπ Note: You only need to set up one authentication method.
If you select Set up Authenticator, scan the QR code with your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or LastPass Authenticator)
Enter the code generated by your app.
Click Verify.
You'll receive a confirmation that 2FA has been successfully enabled.
Manage 2FA Settings
You can enable, reset, or edit your 2FA authentications methods at any time from your account settings.
On the upper-right hand corner of the dashboard, click your account menu.
Select My Account.
This will open up the General tab on the left-hand menu.Scroll down to the Account section and click Security.
Click + Add two-step verification.
Select the authentication method you want to enable, reset, or edit.
If you enable a new authentication method, you will be taken through the 2FA setup directly on the My Account page.
Once all authentication methods are enabled, you will receive a prompt to enter your authentication code the next time you login to MNTN.

There is specific logic in place for users that belong to multiple advertisers: If a user is assigned to a hotel where one advertiser has 2FA set to required, then the user will be required to complete the authentication steps during the login.

You can simply delete numbers by using the delete or backspace key.

2FA options can be reset within My Account. Should a user be locked out of their phone, no longer have the phone number associated with their account or have encountered issues accessing their authenticator app, Hotel Admins have the ability to reset the users 2FA options via My Account > My Admin > Users > Edit Users.
By selecting βresetβ, the user will be taken through the 2FA prompts again and can reselect their authentication methods and make necessary updates to the authenticator app or associated number for SMS Text authentication.
