How it works
MNTN’s AI scans your site and suggests customer attributes based on what people shop for and the topics they engage with. These attributes form the base of your high-performance TV audience.
MNTN matches those attributes with live consumer data to build an audience most likely to convert after watching your commercials. Recent site visitors are excluded so spend focuses on net-new customers.
Your audience is split into two groups:
High Intent: Households most likely to convert now. Drive traffic, conversions, and revenue here.
Max Reach: Households that may convert later. Extend reach to build brand awareness.
When you set your budget, MNTN automatically prioritizes high-intent households and shows exactly what it takes to reach them.
Source New Audiences
Sign in to MNTN.
Follow the steps to Build a New Audience.
⚠️ Warning: On the Build New Audience modal, under Campaign Strategy, make sure to select Prospecting.
Go to the MNTN Matched tab.
MNTN Matched has analyzed your website, built your company profile, and provided business-relevant recommended attributes.
💡 Pro Tip: In the right pane, optionally toggle on Peak Performance to let AI capture the full high-intent TV audience.
Peak Performance is an optional AI-powered mode that expands beyond your selected attributes to reach your full high-intent audience. It balances precision and scale by maximizing reach while still giving you attribute-level reporting for stronger performance and growth.
To apply all of MNTN's recommendations, click the bottom blue Apply MNTN Recommendations button.
You can also click the green Apply MNTN Recommendations button from the right pane.
To further review and customize attributes:
From the Preview Your Customer Profile sub-tab, you can review your company profile and recommended attributes.
From the Adjust Your Customer Attributes sub-tab, you can:
Select all attributes: Check the top Customer Attribute box. You can also deselect previously selected attributes by unchecking the box next to the attribute you want to remove.
Search attributes: Enter an attribute and hit Enter or Return on your keyboard.
Add custom attributes: Click + Add Attributes, enter a new attribute, and then click +.
⚠️ Warning: Adding custom attributes may impact the reach to your High Intent audience.
Click Save Audience.
Your MNTN Matched audience is now ready to activate.
Edit Existing Audiences
Go to the Audience tab.
Go to the Audiences sub-tab.
Find the audience you want to edit click the ellipsis, and either select:
Preview: to preview your audience composition — AI-recommended and user-added attributes, size, and Peak Performance.
Edit: to edit your existing audience following steps 3-6 under Source New Audiences.
Edit Audiences in Live Campaigns
Go to the Campaign tab.
Click the ellipsis to the right of the campaign you want to edit and select Edit.
From the left pane, click Audience.
A preview of your audience composition — AI-recommended and user-added attributes, size, and Peak Performance — displays.
Click Edit.
Follow steps 3-6 under Source New Audiences.
