Manage Billing and Payments

View and manage your billing information, including payment method, invoice history, and billing contacts in Billing Details.

Overview

Billing Details is where you keep your payment information current and see what you've been charged. From one page, you can add or update a payment method, manage the address and contacts we use for invoicing, and review or download your billing history.

If a credit card payment has already failed, see Fix Credit Card Payment Issues.

📝 Note: Every month, we will send you a receipt referencing this information to the email address you provided at sign-up. Please note you can always change that email address.

Open Billing Details

  1. Sign in to MNTN.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the platform, click your account name.

  3. Select Billing from the menu.

Manage Your Invoices

To work with an invoice:

  1. From Billing Details, scroll down to the Billing History table.

📝 Note: Every month, we'll send you a receipt referencing this information to the email address you provided at sign-up. You can change that email address at any time.

To add a PO number to an invoice, see the next section.

Add Or Update A Purchase Order

Some organizations require a purchase order (PO) number to appear on their invoice before payment can be processed. PO numbers are added at the invoice level.

Before your invoice is generated, contact MNTN Support and provide:

  • Your Account ID (AID)

  • The PO number

  • The related campaign or billing details

⚠️ Warning: If a PO number isn't provided before the invoice is generated, your payment timeline may be affected.

After your invoice is issued:

  1. From Billing Details, scroll down to the Billing History table.

  2. Find the invoice you want to update.

  3. In the PO Number column, click Add PO.

  4. Enter the PO number and press enter.

  5. Download the invoice again if you need an updated copy.

Add Or Update Your Payment Method

  2. Complete the required fields.

  3. Select the checkbox to use the same address for your card, or clear it and enter a separate one.

Approved

You'll receive confirmation through email and the MNTN platform that your payment method has been updated.

You'll receive confirmation through email and the MNTN platform that your request has been rejected and your billing method will remain unchanged.

You can request a payment change again in 14 days.

Change Your Invoice Layout

This applies to invoice customers only. MNTN offers two invoice layouts:

Standard

Default

Total monthly ad spend with billing information, payment instructions, and invoice dates. No campaign-level breakdown.

Campaign Detail

Everything in Standard, plus a line-by-line spend breakdown by campaign. This is helpful for advertisers running multiple initiatives.

💡 Pro Tip: Running multiple campaigns? The Campaign Detail invoice makes it easy to understand campaign-level spend, align with reporting, and optimize budgets.

To change your layout:

  1. From Billing Details, in the Billing Details tile, click Edit.

  2. Click the Bill Settings tab.

  3. Select your preferred layout.

  4. Click Save changes.

📝 Note: Layout changes will take effect on your next billing cycle.

Quick Answers

What happens if I miss a payment?

If you pay by credit card, your campaigns pause if we don't receive an updated payment within 3 days of the initial decline. If you pay by invoice, your campaigns pause if the invoice is unpaid after 90 days.

Why is my campaign's spend slightly higher than my campaign's set budget?

We intentionally overspend to win valuable inventory and fulfill as much of your budget as possible. You're only charged your budgeted amount — MNTN absorbs the overage, and your credit card is never charged above your budget.

Why does my account still say overdue when I paid my invoice already?

Your status updates at the end of the invoice's due month or the beginning of the following month. A payment made on the 15th should show as paid by the 3rd of the next month at the latest.
