Overview
The GTM Community Template Gallery is an open platform for sharing tag templates. Your team can easily add and customize tracking codes from the Gallery through your GTM workspace, even without technical expertise.
MNTN's pixels are available in the Gallery for seamless pixel setup. Below are updated instructions on how to install them with new options to support multiple conversion points in your reporting.
Update It
To update the MNTN Conversion template to the latest version in GTM:
Check for Template Updates in GTM.
When a new version of the MNTN Conversion Template is available, a notification will appear in your GTM workspace view.
Click View next to the update alert.
Accept the Latest Version.
In the Available Updates section, select the MNTN Conversion Pixel Tag.
In the upper-right corner, click Accept Update.
Once accepted, the latest version of the template will be installed in your GTM container.
📝 Note: Updating the template doesn't automatically update your existing conversion pixel tags. See below for how to update those.
Use It For Existing Tags
To update the existing MNTN Conversion pixel tags to use the new template features:
Update existing tags.
In your GTM workspace, locate and click on the MNTN Conversion tag you want to update.
Hover over the tag and click the ✏️ icon in the top-right corner.
Locate the new Conversion Type field.
Scroll down within the tag’s configuration panel.
You’ll now see a new field labeled Conversion Type.
Enter a Conversion Type value.
In the Conversion Type field, enter a value that best categorizes your conversion goal. You can enter any value so long as there are no special characters, like:
Purchase: for transactions or sales
SignUp: for account or lead registrations
Save and publish.
Click Save in the upper-right corner.
Click Publish.

No. Your existing MNTN Conversion pixels will continue to operate as they currently are. Changes will only apply to tags that you manually update using the new template version.

Yes. The new Conversion Type field must be manually added to each individual tag where you want to use this feature.
